After we have prepared and cleansed our skin (read here) now it’s time to start doing the make up. The first step is choosing and applying your foundation. As each of us has a different type of skin, so the preferences won’t be the same as mine. And that is ok. All these foundations have its own texture, covering and durability. I’d like to tell you about my 5 favorite light skin foundations which are perfect for summer. Mostly of them are super light and hydrating creams that make your skin shine bright like a diamond.
Clinique Beyond Perfecting Foundation+Concealer
This one has probably the most thick coverage, which you also may use as an under eye concealer. If you are looking for natural matte long lasting foundation – you should try it. Beyond Perfecting is perfect for dry, combination and sensitive skin with redness.
Urban Decay Naked Skin
This foundation hydrates your skin and make it look natural and smooth. Has a light coverage.
BOBBI BROWN Skin Foundation SPF 15
There is a new version of this foundation today. It is perfect for dry and sensitive skin. But I don’t advice to buy it If you have oily or mixed type of skin. Too much glow on your T-zone will disappoint you. It won’t hide any problem areas or little ‘bombs’ but the color of your skin will look smooth and fresh.
Clinique Moisture Surge CC Cream SPF 30
If you like to use a simple moisturizing tone cream during the summer as much as I do, this one will be perfect for you. Besides, it has SPF 30 that is very important even if you stay in the city.
Erborian CC Cream SPF 25
This CC cream is lighter than the previous one. But his strong side is the glow which your skin receives! It’s called ‘a make up with no make up effect’. I also want to admit that there are only two tone options, because of the quickly adjustment to any type of skin color.
There is a very important fact about all these foundations: all of them include SPF, which is a must for summer, even if you are not going to the sea.
